Flamingo Convection Wood Stoves

Logo FlamingoThanks to their high quality and very reasonable price, Flamingo wood stoves have become a very popular brand in Europe. Flamingo wood stoves are equipped with an external air intake connection as standard. To achieve the most effective combustion possible, the supplied external air is further channelled into primary air (under the grate), secondary air for washing the glass door and tertiary air for supporting the combustion of gaseous components. The combustion chamber is designed to deliver high efficiency and low fuel consumption, which is about 2 kg per hour on average. The interior of the combustion chamber is lined with Czech-made fire brick with a cast-iron grate at the base. This makes the combustion chamber almost immortal. These wood stoves are made using 3mm and 5mm thick steel plate; the 5mm steel plate provides robustness to the combustion chamber. This is why we are able to provide a 5-year warranty on our wood stoves.

Systém Eko-Air-In
Řez krbových kamen HS Flamingo

The wood stove has a central outside air supply which prevents the danger of gases exploding by permanently supplying fresh air. This innovative feature ensures high efficiency, the reduction of the fuel consumption by up to 40% and importantly it is friendly to our environment. The amount of ash produced is minimal. The entire combustion process is controlled by means of two rods, one of which serves to regulate the primary air intake, which is needed get the fire burning when it is first lit and the second rod controls the air intake for secondary combustion. Pulling it outwards supplies pre-heated air to the upper part of the combustion chamber.

This secondary air intake ensures that wood is burnt as economically and efficiently as possible while keeping the glass free of soot and stains.
